He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Ott (Sanger); his parents, Wilbert Ott Sr. (Bert) and Florence Ott (Rydholm); and his siblings, Joyce Harwood (Ott), Selma Ott and Wilbert Ott Jr. (Fred).
He is survived by: his brother Gerald (Gerry); his children, Lisa Ott Ray (Jeff), Chip (Angie) and Dave (Heather); his grandchildren, Lexie Jass (Jordan), Lucas Ray (Ali), Connor Ott, Andy Ott and Maggie Ott; and his great grandchildren, Livia, Greyson Jass and Emmett Ray. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to either the Deer River Lions Club or Deer River United Methodist Church.
