It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Holmberg of Eden Valley, Minnesota, who passed away on February 3, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald North and Martha North (Meinhold); her husband Wesley Holmberg of John's Lutheran Church; her children, Loren and Sandra; her sister Vera Johnson; and her sons-in-law, Lynn Lindquist and Rodney Sommerfeld.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian Holmberg (Joan) of Nisswa, MN, Kent Holmberg (Janet) of McGregor, MN, Chad Holmberg (Mary) of Grove City, MN and Curt Holmberg of Eden Valley, MN; her siblings, Dwayne North (Brigid) of Taylors Falls, MN and Donna Caron (Jim) of Grove City, MN; and her daughter-in-law Jocelyn. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
