He is survived by: his wife Kay Kerzman of Richmond; his children, Jamie Heinen of St. Cloud, Michelle Bertram (Jeff) of Plymouth, Kristie Tschumperlin (Chris) of Montgomery, TX, Lori Haag (Shaun) of Montgomery, TX, Mary Rogers (Nate) of Foreston and Michael Heinen (Kristy) of Cold Spring; his siblings, Rosie Bjerke of Annandale, Jackie Heinen of Burnsville, Earl Heinen (Donna) of Paynesville, Laura Schlangen (Ken) of Watkins, Geri Peterson of Mora, Evy Heinen (Joan) of South Haven, Eldred Heinen (Jodi) of St. Michael, Ervin Heinen of Watkins, Bonnie Wendroth of Mora, Ed Heinen (Susie) of Columbia Heights and Bernie Heinen of Watkins; his grandchildren, Zachary, Olivia, Alex, Victoria, Rachel, Megan, Lexie, Bryce, Jack, Maggie, Hazelynn and Brookelynn; and his great grandchildren, Desmond and Jax.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Assumption Catholic Church (464 State St N, Eden Valley, MN 55329). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
