He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Westrup and Veronica Westrup (Ruhland); and his brother-in-law Harold Thul. He is survived by: his children, Robert Westrup of New Bern and Alisha Schmidt (James) of New Bern; his sister Judy Thul of Hutchinson; his grandchildren, Gracie and Garrett; and his nieces and nephews, Brian Thul (Meaghan), Gwen Degolier, Owen Thul and Ashley Degolier.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Homes-Eden Valley (233 State St N, Eden Valley, MN 55329). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Assumption Catholic Church (464 State St N, Eden Valley, MN 55329).
