She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerrit Vos and Marrigje Vos (Vanderwal); her husband Pete; her son Ed; her grandsons, Reed Warren and Seth Hulst; her great grandchildren, Chloe Krosschell and Alex Roskamp; her great great grandchild Clara Schaap; and her siblings, Arent, Bill, Dick, Gerrit Vos, Gertie Nykamp, Annie Prins, Carrie Hamm and Jennie Vis.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Norma Krosschell of Orange City, IA; her daughters, Sal Schaap (Cal) of Leota, MN, Vonnie Barber (Michael) of Muscatine, IA, Aud Bleyenburg (Denny) of Edgerton, MN and Sandi Hulst (Jeff) of Gladbrook, IA.; and her sisters-in-law, Clarice Krosschell and Madeline Sharkey. She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, 22 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the First Christian Reformed Church (150 Center St S, Edgerton, MN 56128). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hillside Cemetery (505 7th Ave, Edgerton, MN 56128).
She always made sure she had sets of embroidered towels on hand for gifts and for school donation sales.
