With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anna Marie Hunter (Edgerton, Minnesota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 19, 2025 at the age of 97. As Anna departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Anna may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Anna leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Broekhuis and Mary Broekhuis (Brink); her husband Duane Hunter; her son Jeff; her grandson Todd Garthright; her great grandchild Sailor Prins; and her son-in-law Allen Prins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Garthright (Joe) of Lawton and Sue Prins of Edgerton; and her daughter-in-law Charla Hunter of Bisbee. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
