Gunnink and Henrietta Gunnink (Menning); his brothers, Art Gunnink, Jerold Gunnink, Henry Gunnink and Glenn "Corky" Gunnink; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Hanson, Leon Spoelstra, Harvey Samuelson, Kenny Bisping, Virginia Samuelson and Lorraine Spoelstra.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Kae Spoelstra; his children, Brian Gunnink (Bonnie) of Sioux Falls, S. D., Randy Gunnink (Ruth) of Brandon, S. D and Lisa Gunnink of Slayton; his siblings, Betty Jean Ross (Harvey) of Tucson, AZ, John Gunnink (Kim) of Edgerton, Duane Gunnink (Shirley) of Grand Rapids, MI, Julie Ann Hanson of Denver, CO and Darwin Gunnink (Peggy) of Aztec, NM; and his sisters-in-law, Jan Gunnink of Apple Valley, Irene Gunnink of Edgerton and Arlene Hunsberger of Grand Rapids, MI. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
