It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janice Vander Poel of Edgerton, Minnesota, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Karssen and Jeanetta Karssen (Eggink); and her brother Roland Karssen. She is survived by : her children, April Hubbling (Marv), Melanie Carmen (Bernard), Noreen Hawes (Randy), Daniel Vander Poel (Paula), Ferlin Vander Poel (Kimberly), Nina Halls (Todd) and Ben Vander Poel (Mindy); and her siblings, Derald Karssen (Joann), William Karssen, Alden "Patch" Karssen (Marlene) and Gaylene Chapman (James). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
