She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bruxvoort and Lucy Bruxvoort (Meyer); her husband Wallace Dierenfeld; her son David Dierenfeld; and her granddaughter Cindy Dierenfeld.

She is survived by: her children, Nellie, Rodney Dierenfeld (Carolyn) of Willmar, MN, Nancy Bach (Philip) of Orange City, IA and Barbara Franklin (Dodd) of Cresco, IA.; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Dierenfeld of Nicollet, MN; her sister Frances Veldkamp of Edgerton, MN; and her sister-in-law Henrietta Bruxvoort of Chandler, MN. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Chandler Reformed Church.
