She was predeceased by: her husband Clayton "Sam"; and her sons-in-law, Craig Barton and Gene Hively. She is survived by: her children, Denise Hively, Deanna Hanschen (Tim), Denita Bogart (Paul), Susan Alberti, Scott Sorkilmo and Shawn Sorkilmo. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces & nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Central Lutheran Church (1103 School St NW, Elk River, MN 55330). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
