He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Sr. Leshovsky and Hazel Leshovsky; his wife Doryce Leshovsky (Jean); and his brothers, Don, Dale, Richard and John Leshovsky.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Johnson (Brad), LoAnn Madden (Jim) and Gary Leshovsky (LaFonda); his grandchildren, Emily Bronson (Jared), Rebecca Nienow (Jake), Nicole Johnson, Gary Leshovsky Jr., Jenna Carty (Brandon), Clay Johnson (Halle), Marcus Leshovsky (Alyssa), Ryan Madden (Kasey), Natalie Johnson and Adam Leshovsky; and his sister Dolores Henry. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. A prayer was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Dare's Funeral and Cremation Services (805 Main St NW, Elk River, MN 55330). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the St. Andrew Catholic Church (566 4th St NW, Elk River, MN 55330).
