He was predeceased by: his parents, David Simms and Marilyn Simms. He is survived by: his siblings, Denna McElhaney (Dwight) and Dale Simms; his significant other Shirley Saxberg; and his stepson Dominic (Jessica). He is also survived by four granddaughters; one grandson; and many loving nieces and nephews.
