It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. Nystrom of Elk River, Minnesota, who passed away on October 17, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James A. Nystrom to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Nystrom and Olga Nystrom (Eckman); his son Jon; and his sister Pauline Erickson (Nystrom). He is survived by: his wife Gail; his sons, Eric and Mark (Stephanie Scafa); his grandson Sam Nystrom Costales; and his stepgranddaughter Kelsey Nava Costales.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers or gifts we ask that you donate in Jim's name to the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) or the Friends of the Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge.
