Laura Shelley Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Shelley of Elk River, Minnesota, born in Delano, Minnesota, who passed away on September 2, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lenore Bauman and James Bauman; her sisters, Teresa Bauman, Leona Graupmann, Irene Sprengeler and Janet Hance; and her brother-in-law Arden Kreft.

She is survived by: her husband Donald; her children, Mike Shelley (Joan), Jeanne Rubbelke (Bruce) and Anne Barnard (Aaron); her granddaughters, Elizabeth Louwagie (Troy), Emily Rubbelke, Kathryn Shelley-Perez (Josh) and Michaela Shelley; her children, Sophia and Joe Barnard; and her siblings, Marie Kreft, Jeanne Proctor (Keith), Edward Bauman (Pamela), Earl Bauman (Cherie) and Tom Bauman (Jenny). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
