It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lorraine Andersen (Elk River, Minnesota), who passed away on April 27, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thaddeus Sikorski and Anna Sikorski (Samuelson); her siblings, Virgina, Charles and Melody; and her daughter Dawn Thielen.
She is survived by: her son Jude Andersen; her grandchildren, Alysha Sletto (Isaac), Zachary Thielen (Vanita), Landry Lenior (Shelsea), Parker Andersen, Nicholas Thielen and Riley Andersen; her great grandchild Magnus Sletto; and her siblings, Pat, Mary, Cathy, Jimmy, Andrew, Anita and Denise.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dare's Funeral and Cremation Services (805 Main St NW, Elk River, MN 55330). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Dare's Funeral Home (805 Main St NW, Elk River, MN 55330). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sunset Cemetery (2250 St Anthony Blvd, Minneapolis, MN 55418).
