The memory of Marlys Eggen of Elk River, Minnesota, who passed away on December 5, 2025 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Knop and Mamie Knop (Krause); her brother Gerald "Jerry" Knop; and her husband John. She is survived by: her sons, David Eggen, Daniel Eggen (Tracy) of Otsego, MN and Philip Eggen (Elizabeth) of Geneva, IL; her grandsons, Boyd and Bramlett of Geneva, IL; her sister-in-law Pearl of Annandale, MN; and her nieces and nephews, Kevin, Neil, Debra, Pamela, Sheila, Nancy, Lisa and Libbi. She is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marlys name are preferred to St. John Lutheran Church in Nowthen, MN.
