With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Louise McFarlane (Elk River, Minnesota), born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack McFarlane; her siblings, John Eckert and Margaret Reiling; and her grandson Francis Dierberger. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Hoelscher of Maplewood, Tom (Kathy) of Cloquet, Peg Dierberger (Fran) of Woodbury and Mike (Julie) of Shoreview; her grandchildren, Tricia Ball (Jerry), Kellie Young (Tim), Colleen, Nick, Kathleen, Jack, Shannon Brask (Anthony), Tom (Rachel), Megan, Aaron, Ryan and Theresa; and her great grandchildren, Amanda, Caitrien, Bridgett (Crystian) of Holly, T. J., Casey, Riley, Campbell and Gracie Louise.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's of Little Canada (380 Little Canada Rd E, Little Canada, MN 55117). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
