She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Determan and Pauline Determan (Weinmann); her husband James Wessel; her granddaughter Allyson Doten; her siblings, Romaine, Kenneth Determan, Lorraine Symalla and Donna Warzecha; and her nieces, Jennifer Symalla and Pam Beddoe.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Wood (Tom) of Albertville, Maria Smith (Barry) of Elk River, Scott Wessel (Krisanne) of Cambridge and Marcia Westover (Jon) of Isanti; her grandchildren, Jacob Wessel, Silas Doten, Noah Doten, William Wessel, Ben Westover, James Smith, Jack Smith and Annastina Wessel; her great grandchild Claire Wessel; and her siblings, Gene Determan (Jane) of Moorhead and Ione Hoskins of Brainerd. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
