He was predeceased by: his former wife Patti Cline; his parents, Charles and Marlene (Pagels); and his brothers, Richard and Patrick.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Cline; his sons, Eric Cline and Tyler Cline (Kaila); his stepsons, Joseph Edsall (Ashley) and Nicholas Edsall (Amy); his grandsons, Carter, Jaxson, Blaine, Collin, Barrett and Elliot; his siblings, Robert, Douglas (Mary), John (Joy), Shelly (Scott) and Cindy (Vivick); and his goddaughter Jennifer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
