We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2025, at the age of 80, Richard Harter (Elk River, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Harter and Clara Harter (Zahler); and his siblings, Gene and MaryAnn. He is survived by: his wife Marie Shubert; his children, Kari (Brian) and Richie (Devin); his grandchildren, Brianna (Dustin), Brennan and Holli; his siblings, James (Ruthie) and Laurie; and his sister-in-law Jeanne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Church of Saint Andrew (566 4th St NW, Elk River, MN 55330). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
