With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard V. Nichols (Elk River, Minnesota), who passed away on December 18, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Nichols and Ione Nichols (Klenk). He is survived by: his wife Joanie (Dauffenbach); his daughter Kim Vernon (Mike); his granddaughter Sarah Vernon; his brothers, Ross (Marlys) and Randy (Glee); and his pet Sky. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Guardian Angels Senior Services, C.A.E.R. food shelf, or the donor's choice.
