With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert McMonigal (Elk River, Minnesota), born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on February 12, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Margaret; and his siblings, Jack, Alice, Susan and Mary Ellen.
He is survived by: his significant other Dorothy; his children, Therese Brandenburg (Craig), Michael McMonigal (Lisa), Thomas McMonigal (Linda), Eileen McMonigal, Daniel McMonigal and Diane Paterson (Alastair); his brother Dennis (Jackie); and his sister-in-law Rita. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society, who provided much needed support, assistance, and volunteer drivers for Robert and the McMonigal family.
