He is survived by: his children, Shirley Nielsen, Kathy Ruzich (Jeff), Diane Torgerson (Wayne), Janet Stine, Patty Cloud (Ron) and Miles Nielsen (Jocelyn). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Central Lutheran Church (1103 School St NW, Elk River, MN 55330). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials are preferred to Central Lutheran Church Endowment Fund, or the USA Olympic Shooting Team.
