It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Harold Peterson of Elk River, Minnesota, who passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Valborg Peterson; his parents, Harold Peterson and Hannah Peterson; and his sister Barbara Peterson. He is survived by: his children, Roxanne (Mike) of Crystal River, Wayne Peterson of Chicago Il, Jon Peterson Delano (Amy) and Jill Peterson of Elk River; and his stepchildren, Mark Gacke (Lou), Dawn Valadez (Victor), Ranee Kraemer (Mark), Heather Adel (Conrad), Felice Ritter (Jeff) and Amber Bullock (Chang). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
