He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Wagner, (Ceplecha) and Leo J. Wagner, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Patty Wagner; his children, Jarrod Wagner and Lori Schoenbauer (Lloyd); and his granddaughters, Krystal and Ashley Schoenbauer.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Catholic Church (51 Church St, Elko New Market, MN 55054). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
