She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Whalen and Francis Whalen; her sister Pam; and her husband George Garvick. She is survived by: her son Brian Garvick of Blue Earth; her grandchildren, Conner Garvick of Jackson and Marissa Garvick of Windom; and her brother Rich Whalen of Wells. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
