The family announces the passing of Edna Molitor Kirchner of Elrosa, Minnesota on September 18, 2026. Edna, born on February 27, 1937, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Fuechtmann and Bertha Fuechtmann (Wielenberg); her former husband Elmer Molitor; her husband Robert "Bob" Kirchner; her granddaughter Ashley Spliethoff; and her stepgreat-granddaughter Loreha Tomsche.
She is survived by: her children, Marlene Spliethoff (Mark), Alvin Molitor (Kathi), Linda Benoit (Ron), Eugene Molitor and Kim Stummer (Kym Gully); and her stepchildren, Rick Kirchner (Char), Debbie Hengel (Ernie), Cindy Daniel (Pete), Diana Beckers (Barry), Joe Kirchner (Laura) and Lori Tomsche (Don). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 15 step-grandchildren, and 36 step-great-grandchildren; her surviving brothers and sisters; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church (302 State St, Elrosa, MN 56325). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
