He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harvat and Mary Harvat; and his daughters, Teresa Beaudry and Katie Harvat. He is survived by: his significant other Gwenn Lilya; and his children, Merrie Trembath, Polly Beadu, Jojo Harvat, Alberta Harvat, Liesl Provoznik (Peter) and John Harvat. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, nine honorary grandchildren, and four honorary great-grandchildren.
