She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Luukkonen and Francelia Luukkonen (Erickson); her husband Chester L. Potter; and her sister Anita Peterson. She is survived by: her children, Greg Matti and Renee Dinh; her grandsons, Jerome and Ty Dinh; and her siblings, Edwin Luukkonen (Judy), Alland Luukkonen, Edward Luukkonen (Diane), Jeanie Theel (Dean) and Vicky Koski. She is also survived by step-grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the TBD Kerntz Funeral Home (140 E Sheridan St, Ely, MN 55731). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Kerntz Funeral Home (140 E Sheridan St, Ely, MN 55731). A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Ely Cemetery (2110 MN-169, Ely, MN 55731).
