He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pankratz and Althea Pankratz (Lindstrom); his wife Merlys Elaine Pankratz (Dougherty); his parents-in-law, Robert Dougherty and Myrtle Dougherty; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Kuehl and Robbin Heller.
He is survived by: his niece McKenzie Kuehl; his daughters, Natalie Pankratz-Leff (Dave Leff), Nicole Pankratz (Steve Drenckhahn) and Noël Nivala (Wade); his grandchildren, Dustyn Leff, Paige Mortaloni, Dylan Leff, Tristin Nivala, Payton Nivala and Sydney Nivala; his great grandchild Vivian Mortaloni-Ferguson; and his sisters, Glenice Hoek (Rick), Lavonne Thomforde and Jean Eigen. He is also survived by numerous cousins; nieces & nephews; and many friends.
