Though Gordon may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gordon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Franks and Eleanor Franks (Kidwell); and his brother Paul Franks. He is survived by: his wife Audrey Franks of Ely; his children, David Franks (Arline) of Ely, Donald Franks of Ohio, Lynn Franks of Ely, Dean Franks (Karen) of Duluth and Dale Franks of Ely; and his cousin Dean Franks (Terri) of Palo Cedro, California.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.
