He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugenio Mondati and Rosa Mondati (Magagnini); and his siblings, Adeline, Delina (Catena), Mary (Puncher), Enrico, John and Natalina. He is also survived by seven nieces and three nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kemtz Funeral Home (140 E Sheridan St, Ely, MN 55731). The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the James Will Come Home.
