She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Torkelson and Inga Torkelson (Folvik). She is survived by: her children, Joel Edman (Kathy), Becky Trancheff (Mike), Tom Edman (Dawn Anderson) and Kim Grayson; her grandchildren, Robert Edman (Matt Hill), Joleen Edman (Miguel Leanez), Megan Sailsbury (Dan), Kirsten Trancheff and Abbie Wethern-Edman (Carter Wethern); and her great grandchildren, Samantha Rettman, Isabelle Rettman, Calvin Sailsbury, Max Sailsbury and Jonah Sailsbury. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (301 E Conan St, Ely, MN 55731). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to Grace Lutheran Church or Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.
