It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ann Starkman of Ely, Minnesota, who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Sever and Mary Sever (Pucel); her husband Jack W. Starkman; her son J. Jack Starkman; her brother Joseph M. Sever; and her son-in-law Thomas Franklin.
She is survived by : her daughters, Marie Salerno (Tim) and Sharon Franklin; her daughter-in-law Bonnie K. Starkman; her grandchildren, Michael Starkman (Heidi), David Starkman, Matt, Sean Salerno (Alyssa), John Franklin and Morgan Maglio (T. J.); and her great grandchildren, Jade Starkman, Vivienne Salerno, Quincy Salerno, Annie Salerno, Logan Salerno, Vincent Maglio and Julian Maglio.
She donated much of her time and expertise in beautification projects in the City of Ely and the Ely Cemetery and was an active member of the Ely Garden Club.
