With sadness, we share the passing of Donald A. Dahl of Elysian, Minnesota. Donald, born on March 2, 1929, passed away on August 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Donald for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Donald’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Dahl and Mollie Dahl (Larson); his son David; and his wife Natalie Kray. He is survived by: his children, Dawnelle Breding (Carter) of Maricopa and Lee Dahl (Marilyn) of Frederick, Colorado. He is also survived by six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Elysian American Legion Post 311 (104 E Main St, Elysian, MN 56028).
