He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Patrick and June Johnson; his uncle Wesley; his aunt Kathy Johnson; and the mother of his children Lynne Cullen.

He is survived by : his partner Chris McDougall; his children, Whitney Jaeger (Christopher) and Damian Janssen (Heather Stewart); his siblings, Kara Craine (Eric), Wade Janssen (Kendra), Daniel Janssen (Ashley) and Nathan Janssen (Cassy); his grandchildren, Jennings, Kolton, Elizabell and Everhett; and his great grandchildren, Ian and Alaina McDougall.
