He was predeceased by : his parents, William Pulkinen and Fannie Pulkinen (Lukkinen). He is survived by : his wife Francine Brula; his sons, James Pulkinen (Katie Dougherty) of Duluth and Michael Pulkinen (Jamie) of Wausau, WI; his grandchildren, Brian (Erin), Eric and Rachel Pulkinen; and his sister-in-law Delores Walsh of Badger, MN. He is also survived by 4 step grandchildren; 1 step great grandson, numerous nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Robert W. Pulkinen, age 84, former resident of Embarrass and Washington Manor, Virginia, died peacefully from Alzheimer's, on Friday, February 17, 2023, at 12:20 am at New Journey Memory Care in Eveleth.
