He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thompson and Mabel Thompson (Danielson); and his brothers, Marlin Thompson and David Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Thompson; his children, Sharon McDonald (Peter Colwell), Marilyn Capouch (Tim), Marcia Thompson (Carey), Rodney Thompson, Colleen Hanson (Terry), Jeff Boese, Denise Lemcke (Curt) and Stacey Herbel (Todd); and his sister-in-law Marian Thompson (Caroline Engelhart). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
