He is survived by: his children, Sheri Altepeter (Phil) and Scott Trandem (Cathy); his grandchildren, Tyler Altepeter (Nicole), Justin Altepeter (Sami), Joshua Altepeter, Danelle Trandem (Emmanuel), Amanda Trandem (Izaac) and Luke Trandem (Lydia); his great grandchildren, Charlie James Altepeter and Eleanor Rita Altepeter; his siblings-in-law, Bruce Solberg (Lanny Martin) and Joan "Patsy" Vick; Ginny, Mike, Leanne, Andy, Lisa, Mark and Laureen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
