He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Arnold Syverson, Joe and Marion Shimpa; his stepfather John Heinen; his uncle Scott Shimpa; and his cousin Skylan Spafford.
He is survived by: his parents, Deanna Syverson Heinen and Larry Shimpa (Ethel); his daughter Grace Shimpa; his brother Brian Shimpa (April); his stepsiblings, Dan Comstock (Sandra), John Jr. Heinen (Kris), Lisa Bannert (Robert), Erin Halvorson (Brandon), Timmy Jones and Cassie Jones; and his grandmother Conne Syverson. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carlin Family Funeral Service - Erskine (326 Vance Ave S, Erskine, MN 56535). A prayer will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 37592 180th Ave SE, Erskine, MN 56535.
