He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Johnsen and Joyce Johnsen; his brother Terry Johnsen; and his brother-in-law James Mattila. He is survived by: his wife Rita of Amnicon Lake, WI; his daughters, Julia Matakis (Brian) of Wheaton, IL and Jessica Mohn-Johnsen of Duluth, MN; his grandchildren, Emilia, Sadie, Josephine and Luke; his sister Pam Mulvihill (Joe) of Andover, MN; and his sister-in-law Claudia Johnsen of Eagan, MN.
