He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Peterson and Ann Peterson (Tomatz); his parents-in-law, Frank and Bernice Gornik; his brothers, Floyd (Mary Ann Peterson), Robert (Janice Peterson) and Larry Peterson (Judy Peterson-Stapleton); his brother-in-law John Gornik; and his grandson Tyler.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Gornik; his children, Sheri and Jeff; his cousin Donna Kuopus (late Ray); his nephew Alan Peterson (Jane); and his cousin Kiwi. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
