It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Richard Lahti of Eveleth, Minnesota, who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Lahti and Irene Walitalo Johnson; his brother Rueben; and his wife Fran. He is survived by: his children, Steven Lahti (Paula), Lori Lahti Goetz (Doug), Lynn Lahti Hommeyer (Tom), Lisa Lahti Wyland (Gerry) and Jon Lahti; his grandchildren, Erik (Autumn), Kai (Danielle), Anne (Derek), Berit (Jamie), Jon (Erica), Ingrid (Kyler), Lucia, Liv, Liisa, Leif, Sven and Stieg; his great grandchildren, Leena, Liam, Lira, Sophia, Lillian and Eila; and his siblings, Eldon Lahti, John Lahti, Susan Chamberlin, Mary Rettig, Jim Johnson and Rachel Johnson.
A burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (201 Station 44 Rd, Eveleth, MN 55734).
Memorials in honor of Ken may be made to United in Christ Lutheran Church or Salolampi Finnish Language Village.
