She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Leppanen and Jennie Leppanen; her husband John Briski; her siblings, Vicki Klakoski and David Leppanen; her daughter Deborah Mancina (Briski); her son-in-law Michael Mancina; and her granddaughter Elizabeth Pierce.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Jomi) of Cottage Grove, Dennis (Colleen) of Eveleth, Gary (Sue) of Eveleth, Nancy Pratt (Bill) of Eveleth, Alan (Tae) of Pengilly, Doug (Gail) of Iron and Tim (Michelle) of Aurora; and her siblings, William Leppanen (Doris Johnson) of Mora, Shirley Maki of Aurora and Darlene Jackson (Mark) of Aurora. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
