With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie K. Lund of Eveleth, Minnesota, who passed away on July 17, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie K. Lund to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Sokoloski and Helen Sokoloski (Anderson); her husband John A. Lund; her stepfather Sam Oklak; and her siblings, Robert, Daniel Sokoloski and Dorothy Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Duane Lund (Linda) of Aurora and Hans Lund of Silver Bay; her grandchildren, Alyssa Leese (Jeff), Tyler Lund (Ashley) and McKenna Lund; her great grandchildren, Brayden Celley, Leni, Brooks Leese and Blake Pineo-Vogh; her brother Michael Oklak; and her sister-in-law Mariann Isakson.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home - Aurora (402 W 3rd Ave N, Aurora, MN 55705).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a charity of your choice in her memory.
