She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Pirjevec and Mary Pirjevec (Tushar); her husband Stan Okoren; her grandsons, Derek Bane and Lee Cvar; and her brothers, Frank, Bernie (Barb) and Kenneth Pirjevec (Gigi).

She is survived by: her children, Marly Cvar (Tom), Jackie Hoffman (Greg), Ron Okoren (Lisa), Kathy Timm (Brad) and Julie Bane; and her sister Kathy Bastianelli (Pat). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and Diabetes Foundation.
