With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Ellen Jourdain of Eveleth, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2026 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her husband Francis; her son Jared; and her sister Darlene Fairbanks. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary LaGarde-Agnew (Brandon), Tara Kurkosky and Summer Thaler; her grandchildren, Michelle, Madison, Hayden, Helaina and Clay; her great grandchildren, Taiga and Elias; and her siblings, Cleone Thompson, Karen Isham, Doug Fairbanks, Keith Fairbanks and Pamela Fairbanks. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
