He was predeceased by: his parents, Corrine Theis (Kerber) and Norbert "Nubby" Theis; his siblings, Steven "Hank" Theis and Karen Theis; his nephew Nathan Theis; and his goddaughter Angel Theis.
He is survived by: his child Solveig Theis (Huseth); his wife Solveig; his siblings, Sherry Theis, Bruce Theis (Nancy), Connie Doepke (Paul), Jesse Theis (Judy), Cindy Pieper (Vern), Renee Erickson and Keith Theis (Theresa); his children, Brad Theis (Cara), Mandy Randall (JB) and Micah Commander (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Keegan, Priya, Sophie, Sulli Commander, Elsie, Gretta, Grace Theis, Declan Randall, Dylan and Jason Baudoin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Westwood Community Church (3121 Westwood Dr, Excelsior, MN 55331). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Canterbury Park Expo Center (1100 Canterbury Rd, Shakopee, MN 55379).
