He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Strain and Clara Arlene Strain (Younger); and his brother Burdene. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Christenson; his children, Bryan Strain (Marie) of Eagan, MN, Bradley Strain of Rochester, MN, Patrick Strain (Amy) of Onalaska, WI and Victoria Fachin (Michael) of Owatonna, MN; his grandchildren, Sarah, Erick Strain, Ashley, Cody, Tyler Strain, Emily, Abigail Strain and Brandon Fachin; and his siblings, Patricia Davis (Jerry), Sandra Schwering (Dan) and Scott Strain.
