She was predeceased by: her mother Sylvia Chupita. She is survived by: her father Frank Chupita; her husband Donald Zimmerman (Winona); her children, Jon (Lana), Jeff (Connie) and Jill Spangler (Bryan); and her siblings, Ken Chupita, Jean Jilk (Stephan) and Greg Chupita. She is also survived by her six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Community Church (311 Carolann St NW, Eyota, MN 55934).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Janice's memory can be made payable to Donald Zimmerman, and will be forwarded to Compassion International, an organization she held close to her heart.
